NEMA Size 4 is a large motor starter, rated for motors up to 100 HP at 480V or 125 HP at 600V in a three-phase application. This is a heavy-duty, high-amperage starter suitable for large pump, compressor, fan, or conveyor drive applications.
The E300 Electronic Overload Relay (LRG variant) includes built-in ground fault protection and is the current-generation Rockwell Automation electronic overload — replacing the older E1 Plus and E3 Plus relays. It provides motor protection, diagnostics, and (with the DeviceNet module) full remote monitoring capability.
The DeviceNet communications option (7FE3D) enables the starter to communicate with a ControlLogix or CompactLogix PLC over a DeviceNet network, providing remote start/stop, status monitoring, fault diagnostics, and energy metering without additional external hardware.
