Available for immediate sale is a matched pair of complete Vertical Turbine Pump (VTP) assemblies, each driven by a WEG W21 Severe Duty 5 HP hollow shaft motor. Both units are identical in configuration and were removed from the same facility as a duty/standby pair. Each assembly is complete with discharge head, column pipe, lineshaft, and bowl assembly — ready for inspection and reinstallation into a sump, tank, pit, or wet well application.

Vertical turbine pumps of this type are widely used in industrial process plants, water/wastewater treatment facilities, chemical plants, and refineries for pumping from sumps, underground tanks, and process pits where a horizontal centrifugal pump cannot be used.

Pump Assembly Description

Each complete assembly consists of the following components, laid out for inspection:

•Discharge head — large flanged plate (blue painted, cast iron) that mounts to the tank lid, pit cover, or structural support. The motor mounts directly on top of the discharge head.

•Column pipe — approximately 4–5 metres of column pipe carrying pumped fluid from the bowl assembly to the discharge head. Mild steel construction, blue painted.

•Lineshaft — enclosed lineshaft running inside the column pipe, transmitting torque from the hollow motor shaft down to the impeller bowl assembly.

•Bowl assembly — multi-stage impeller bowl assembly at the bottom of the pump. Bowl material and number of stages not confirmed.
